With over 30 years’ experience within the construction industry, Richard worked for the pioneering flooring contractor Silidur and owned his own construction company prior to joining Twintec a decade ago. He is a technical and practical experienced concrete industrial flooring professional advising end users, engineers and contractors on the best possible personalised design solution for their flooring projects.
His commitment to design/materials innovation and continuous improvement of construction techniques led to the introduction of the Twintec Ultimate product that has revolutionised concrete floor slab design in Europe.
In addition to his role as Managing Director of Twintec Netherlands, his position as Director of Research & Development for the Twintec Group has been key in driving Twintec to be the recognised leader in steel fibre concrete flooring design and construction. His passion for sustainable technologies, floor slab design and innovative site practices continues to drive him and the Twintec Group to deliver high quality, personalised, superflat flooring solutions worldwide.
Sergiy Derkach is working on the author's projects thanks for his background (education, experience, creativity, the ability to wait for the objective conditions and fast action). This makes him act responsibly for the future of the projects, which are the contemporary modification of «river-sea+» technology intended to boost marine and cruise industries in further steps of development in nowadays reality where «Silk Road» topic is on the TOP. The option of using the Black Sea as a multi-vector transport link between Asia and Europe is proposed. This proposal is addressed to the business elite and investors. The cruise project "Eurocarousel" as a continuation and complementation of the theme "Silk Road" will enrich "New Modes for Cultural Exchanges among the Belt and Road Countries".
Sergiy started his career in marine and cruise industry in 1979 and hold management positions in fleet operation, cruise line, tour operation, shipping consulting and management. Education includes Marine Academy, Marine University, postgraduate in math analyses in economic research.
Bob has over 40 years’ experience in the Supply Chain and Logistics Industry, with more than 30 of those years in the Middle East and Africa. His experience covers Container Terminal Management, Liner Agency Management, Port and Free Zone Construction and Development, Oil & Gas Free Zone Development and the Development of UAE Operations for several Freight Forwarders in the Top Five Global Companies.
In 2012, after retiring, Bob took on the role of Managing Partner at Concord Sky Logistics, (a UAE owned company within a local conglomerate) and having Global Connectivity on all Continents. His speciality is the global movement of Supercars such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, etc, by Land, Sea and Air and provides an end to end service including all documentation. Concord Sky Logistics also provides Consultancy and Training to companies within the areas of Supply Chain, Warehouse Construction, Planning and Employee Development.
The SAM Group (Suhail Al Marri) comprises some 33 Companies and represents many Global Brands and Bob now acts as Advisor to the Chairman in developing the Group.
Areas of experience include Yemen, West Africa, Saudi Arabia and S.E. Asia.
Bob is an ISO9000 Lead Auditor and a FIATA Trainer.
