President & General Manager, Middle East & Africa – SIG Combibloc Obeikan FZCO

Abdelghany Eladib has held the position of President & General Manager, Middle East and Africa, since 2021. Prior to his current position, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer in the SIG Combibloc Obeikan joint venture since he joined in 2017. 

Bringing more than 26 years of Food and Beverage industry leadership, expertise and executive management experience to his role with the company, Abdelghany manages the corporate direction and strategy and focuses on the company’s digital transformation, diversification, increased efficiency and performance optimisation.

SIG Combibloc Obeikan is SIG Combibloc Obeikan, one of the world’s leading systems and solutions provider for aseptic packaging and filling machines for food and beverages across Middle East, Africa and Turkey. The company offers high-speed and efficient aseptic filling machines with unbeatable volume, format and product flexibility. Through 9 offices located strategically across MEA and a state-of-the-art production facility in Riyadh, the Firm presents a unique technology and outstanding innovation solutions for operating smarter factories in order to address the ever-changing needs of consumers.

From managing business for organizations worth over 1 Billion USD or leading strategies to scale up operations for multinational conglomerates, Abdelghany has a proven track record in different multinational organisations where he served in a number of senior management positions. Prior to joining SIG Combibloc Obeikan, he worked with Procter and Gamble, Kraft, Cadbury, Bel Food and MARS.

Abdelghany holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Business Administration and a Diploma in Strategic Management from Jack Welsh Institute in USA.
