Ajit Jangle
CEO - Supply Chain, DP World India

Ajit Jangle is the Chief Executive Officer- Supply Chain at DP World. Ajit has over 27 years of experience in shipping and logistics business with domain expertise in managing multi-modal global supply chain projects. In his current role, he is responsible for overseeing the express, contract logistics, CFS and bulk business units of DP World-India.  Prior to joining DP World, he was the Country Head and Chief Operating Officer of TVS Logistics India.

Ajit started his career with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and was associated with them for 10 years in various capacities. In his last role as National Manager (Supply Chain), he was responsible for managing supply chain functions like production planning, inbound logistics and distribution of finish vehicles at Mahindra. Post Mahindra, he worked with APL Logistics, as Regional Director for Middle-East and Africa region and served as the Managing Director at both APL Logistics and APL Liner. He was Managing Director at Toll Global Logistics India (2008-2013) and Group Chief Operating Officer at Allcargo Logistics (2013-2017).

He has extensive experience managing the supply chain and logistics business in India and Middle East. In his previous roles, he has helped organisations manage their logistics businesses in Middle-East and Africa region, including in UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius and South Africa.

Ajit is a graduate in Mechanical Engineer from Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Mumbai and holds a master's degree in Financial Management from NMIMS, Mumbai. He has completed CPIM Supply Chain certification from APICS US and Strategic Management certification from Macquarie University, Sydney.
